Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a lawyer from Britain and Lebanon, a human rights activist, and charitable philanthropist. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. Her long career has been praised internationally for her accomplishments in international law and the field that deals with human rights. The clients she has worked with include the people of Armenia who is battling the Turkish government over the acceptance and apology for the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney engaged American actor George Clooney to marry him in 2014. The couple instantly became a household name in pop media. Prior to this, she was already been well known within the legal community in her ability to defend clients. From tackling human and social rights and representing multinational corporations in court proceedings and negotiations concerning federal regulations. From 2015 onwards she served as a barrister at British court within Doughty Street Chambers.
